Big Solar Co-op Projects Lead
We have an exciting new opportunity to join the Big Solar Co-op team, delivering one of the fastest-growing solar co-ops in the UK.
We need somebody to help us get solar schemes built on a range of different building types from schools to factories, doctors’ surgeries, hotels, visitor centres and more. You’ll work within our dedicated and friendly team of paid staff and volunteers project-managing multiple schemes and solving problems as they arise.
Key tasks include:
- Working with volunteers and paid staff to deliver solar projects
- Tracking and reporting on project progress using our internal tools
- Working with technical, legal and financial teams to find optimal solutions
- Problem solving and troubleshooting
- Liaising with external providers and regulatory bodies
- Site visits
- Ongoing liaison with host sites during and after solar array installation.
- Representing the Big Solar Co-op at local or national events
